Short bio

Fabio Dell’Acqua is currently Full Professor of Telecommunications at the University of Pavia, Italy. He received the Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering “cum laude” from the University of Pavia, Italy, in 1996, and the Ph.D. degree in Remote Sensing from the same University in 1999. He worked at the Division of Informatics, University of Edinburgh, UK, in year 2000. He was Associate Editor for the International Journal of Information Fusion, the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Magazine, and Guest Editor for a number of special issues. He currently teaches courses in remote sensing at the University of Pavia. His research interests focus on radar data processing and radar/optical data fusion for agricultural and risk-related applications.
